Cold Light of Day Review: A Thrilling Suspense Story

I am a fan of author Elizabeth Goddard and her crime suspense novel Cold Light of Day did not disappoint. She jumped into the action from the first page with a suspenseful scene that would be explained later in the story.

Elizabeth Goddard’s Cold Light of Day

The story centers on two main characters. Autumn Long, a Police chief of a small, out of the way Alaskan town who, while battling small town politics, faces an onslaught of criminal activity from dangerous outsiders. While trying to keep her town safe, Autumn learns that the memories and beliefs she held since she was a child are about to be shaken.https://a.co/d/hag89oR

Grier Brenner came to Shadow Gap to lay low and disappear but his sense of honor couldn’t keep him away when the Chief needed his skills to keep her and the town safe. Even if that meant his own life may be on the line.

There is electricity between the two as they join forces to find out who is behind several murders and attacks.

Goddard keeps the suspenseful pace and sense of imminent danger as the story unfolds to an explosive conclusion.

If you’re looking for a thrilling crime drama, with a little romance thrown in, Cold Light of Day is a great choice.

I was given a copy of this book by the publisher for my impartial review. See my review on Goodreads.
